Forest photo-interpretation

In accordance with the current standards of the Direction des inventaires forestiers (DIF) of the MRNF, Groupe-conseil Forchemex ltée carries out :

• Characterization of forest stand species composition, density height index, age class, origin, disturbances;
• Characterization of growth conditions in terms of slope class and position on the slope, type and thickness of surface deposits;
• The characterization of the evolutionary series towards which the growth of the plant environment tends, using the analysis of the preceding characteristics and the application of the physiographic sere.
• Fine interpretation for industry.

Services range from analysis of the area to be interpreted, to planning the network of control points, field reconnaissance, drafting the analysis and control point report, and final photo-interpretation.
