Active for over 35 years, Groupe-conseil Forchemex Ltée, a subsidiary of Groupe Rémabec, has built a solid reputation in forest management.
Forchemex is the result of an integration of the services of the wood and forestry division of Roche ltée, Groupe-conseil, now Norda Stelo Inc. and Rosaire Després & Ass. inc. a forestry services firm specializing in forest roads.
This merger combined their respective skills and consolidated Forchemex’s status as a leader in forestry. On September 1, 2017, Forchemex entered into a new agreement to partner with a long-standing customer.
As a result, it became a subsidiary of Groupe Rémabec, headquartered in La Tuque and a pillar of Quebec’s forestry industry with nearly 2,000 employees across the province.

Our company has always taken our customers’ ideas and projects to heart, enabling us to retain and consolidate an experienced, fresh team.
We have around twenty regular employees: forest engineers, forest management technologists, surveyors, civil engineers and forestry technicians.
The professionalism, dedication and dynamism of our staff is important, and this credit goes to our customers, who have recognized their skills and competence over the years.
